This is our dream

It is our dream to impact the lives of children and young people from all walks of life in the Bradford and wider district, to help them to believe in themselves and understand the power of having personal vision or a dream for their lives.

We believe that every person is born with natural abilities, gifts, talents and skills that are unique to them; that theirgifts and talents define the tasks, jobs and careers they were born to do and which they have the natural ability to be great at.

Our dream is to help young people to dare to believe that they can be achievers, irrelevant of the circumstances they were born into. It is our desire to support and encourage them to identify their natural abilities, raise their aspirations and set meaningful and achievable goals for their lives.

We aim to help children and young people from all backgrounds, particularly those from disadvantaged homes achieve in the following areas:

Be healthy - Children and young people are healthy mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Stay safe - Increases self-worth and provides strategies to help children and young people keep themselves safe. Develop confidence to say “No” when they want to.

Enjoy and Achieve - Inspires children and young people to aim for a life worth living. To help them realise they canachieve and encourage them to set personal goals.

Make a Positive Contribution - Promotes self esteem and well being to encourage children and young people to be enterprising and want to make a contribution to their communities.

Achieve Economic Well being - Boosts confidence and the capacity to dream. To overcome adversity and take responsibility for their future and to know they can make a difference in their own lives. Also it increases the ability to recognise opportunities when they arise and to make the most of them.

Our Mission

Our vision is to raise the self-worth and aspirations of children and young people in the Bradford and wider district, enabling them to believe in themselves and value personal vision for their lives.

Our Mission is to deliver excellent motivational group work programmes with young people to improve their life chances.

We aim to promote a culture that empowers young people and encourages them to develop and celebrate their unique talents, gifts and skills which in turn raise their aspirations and achievement and also creates a supportive community of personal responsibility.

To fulfil our Mission we focus on:

- Delivering lively interactive group work programes

- Incorporating music and performing art workshops to engage young people

- Accredited learning

- Training young people to encourage peer led learning
